This is a new, unplayed Stereo/Stereo promo copy, in its original factory sleeve. Odd as it may seem now (to me, at least), this somewhat schmaltzy duet with Paul McCartney was the debut single from Jackson's massively popular "Thriller" album. I mean, yes, it was a hit, but why strut it forth ahead of "Billie Jean" or "Beat It"? Must've been part of the contract with McCartney. :-) This is the rare second promo release, marked as "New Edited Version" with a 3:32 track that blessedly leaves off the intro "rap" between McCartney and Jackson. The stock copy and original promo, as well as the LP, have the 3:41 "rap" version. Note: Aside from a little "bubbling" typical of these Epic paper labels, this beautiful promo copy is pristine Mint.
