The Kids Are Alright/ A Legal Matter

This is a beautiful copy of the rarely seen followup to the Who's classic "My Generation." (This is the first copy — original or reissue — I've had in the store since opening in 2001.) Like most Who singles, it failed to make much of an impression in the U.S., but its shimmering guitars and the group's fine harmonizing makes it one of their very best. Oddly, the tune wasn't released as a single in the U.K., where nearly all of their 1960s 45s were Top 10 hits. Note: The A side label has tiny date written on it (see scan).
