The People Had No Faces/ So I'm Wrong And You Are Right

This is the very first single by the Blues Magoos in 1966, on Verve Folkways, on which they call themselves "The Bloos Magoos." In 1967, after the group's first chart success on Mercury under their new name—"(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet"—Verve Folkways re-released these tracks, credited to Blues Magoos, on catalog #5044, with "So I'm Wrong..." on the A side. Neither release managed to dent the U.S. National charts... But both sides are highly worthy to fans of 1960s Garage Rock. And you won't find them on a Blues Magoos album... This was a non-album single. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage MGM Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), with only very slight imperfections.
