Time Is On My Side/ Baby, Don't Come On With Me

The back-story for this record should be interesting... This is apparently the first recorded version of the iconic "Time Is On My Side," which Irma Thomas and then the Rolling Stones had singles with later in the decade. Trombonist Winding is joined here by a "Vocal Group" that turns the whole affair into a side of Deep Soul. Note that Jerry Ragavoy and Garry Sherman had a hand in the arrangement. This may have been a one-off single, as I couldn't find these tracks on any of Winding's Verve LPs. Note: This beautiful copy has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
