This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection. Two must-have Joe Simon tunes from his years with Sound Stage 7. Besides the A side, which was a Top 10 hit in the U.S. RnB/Black market, take a listen to the mp3 snippet for this single's amazing B side. Virtually all sides of Joe Simon's 45's are as wonderful as these: Deep gospel soul at its very best! Note: Although new and (previously) unplayed, this promo copy does not match the pristine condition of most of the Louise Neal collection. Its A label is nearly pristine (see scan), but the B side has a touch of ringwear and a small abrasion. The vinyl also grades Near Mint, reflecting a faint, no-impact warp and a few touches of storage wear. Even after a deep cleaning, the record doesn't yield pristine Mint audio in this case. Rather, I must grade it Near Mint to reflect a very occasional, light "pop" on the A side, mostly in the first third of the track (the B side is almost completely free of any surface noise).
