Judging by the intended A side, I would call this a Deep Soul record. However, over the years, fans have decided — for good reason! — that the real collectable recording here is the B side, "She Didn't Know." And that recording is hard got categorize... I've put it in "Funky Soul," because that's the closest of the categories I use. But it has a lighter touch that pushes it in a Northern Soul direction. In any case, I predict it'll make you slip on your dancing shoes on... and play it again! The label credits include "Voices and Remix Lou Guarino." Note: This beautiful copy has very light storage wear on the labels and vinyl (styrene), resulting in Near Mint grades. The audio itself sounds pristine.
