From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed Stereo/Mono promo copy, in its original, promo-only picture sleeve. This is the promo that has the 3:45 edited version in Stereo/Mono, with a large spindle hole. Listening to the song again today, I found myself filled again with anger at the unforgivable atrocities that Reuben Carter suffered at the hands of some of his fellow American citizens. You can hear the same anger in Dylan's voice as he tells the tragic tale. This copy also comes with a beautiful copy of the original, promo-only picture sleeve. (Some copies of the retail release also had the picture sleeve, but they didn't have "Demonstration/Not For Sale" printed on them.)
