This is an original promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection. The A side is a terrific, stomping Northern Soul dancer you won't want to miss! Note: This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that apparently spent some of their life outside a protective sleeve. Although given the date when Ms. Neal left North Carolina for New York (never to return), some time in 1966 or 1967, there's no one who would have played this copy, but somehow the vinyl has attracted a few scuffs and tiny scratches, one of which unfortunately leaves a light "pop" each spin for its duration. The audio is strong and undistorted, and most of the time you don't really notice the light "pops" because the music is so loud. Nevertheless, I have to grade the audio a EX, missing a threshold my mind maintains for distinguishing EX from EX+. (I have a similar threshold between EX+ and M- and between M- and M, etc.) The white promo labels are Near Mint with light storage wear (see scan).
