I Wish You Would/ A Certain Girl

Here's a beautiful promo copy of the Yardbirds' first U.S. single, a cover of a 1955 Blues rocker by Chicago singer Billy Boy Arnold. According to the very informative Wikipedia article on the song, it was developed with Bo Diddley. The group's debut single flopped on both sides of the Atlantic, and it would take their next single (in the U.S.) — "For Your Love" — to get them widely noticed. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Epic Records factory sleeve. This near mint copy has very faint ringwear but no writing or other defacements on the labels, and the vinyl (styrene) has some faint scuffing. The audio is pristine Mint.
