From the very beginnings of my rock'n'roll consciousness, this song has been an irresistable favorite. I was still 8 years old when I fell in love with these weird and wonderful Martians. In a sad commentary on our post-Watergate Nation, can you imagine any group not only releasing a record as silly as this, but having it become a national hit? Yet it wasn't even uncommon back in 1963. Remember Rip Van Winkle by the Devotions? Yep, another favorite of mine! This beautiful copy comes in the awesome picture sleeve for this release. Note: The 45 itself grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), with only very minor imperfections. The sleeve is Near Mint overall, with minimal ringwear and no split seams, but with some notable top-edge wear.
