Mother/ Why

This is one of Lennon's rarest singles, coming as the followup to his hit, "Instant Karma," as the first single from the Plastic Ono Band album. The 45 itself is the more common variety, without a star or "Mono" on the label. However, the picture sleeve is hardly common at all — it bears the image from the album and is the rarest of Lennon picture sleeves. Like the album, the single is credited to John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band (on the A side). This copy has some light ringwear on both sides (see scan). Note: The B side label has a small date written on it. The audio is mint.
