This tune was the group's first Top 10 single in the U.K. (Their first single, "Love Me Do," peaked at #17.) Interestingly, the B side of the U.S. release, "From Me To You," was the group's followup to "Please Please Me" in the U.K. and became the Beatles' first #1 hit there in April 1963. Here in the U.S., the B side didn't appear on any contemporary Beatles album. This Vee-Jay variant has a black label with a rainbow band and the Vee-Jay logo white brackets. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Vee Jay Records factory sleeve. The labels look Near Mint. The vinyl has some very light scuffing, also grading Near Mint. The audio is loud, proud and Near Mint on both sides. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
