Originally released on Brunswick 55024. This reissue from 1987, with its great picture sleeve, was released to celebrate a new "Best of Jackie Wilson" album. "Reet Petite" was Jackie Wilson's very first chart record, cowritten by none other than Berry Gordy, the guy who in a few years would have the sound of Soul music in his back pocket. This is a new promo copy, with the same song on both sides. The label says "Stereo," but it sounds like the Mono original to me.
