This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection. It's been a long time since I've heard truly Deep Soul — of both the uptempo and mid-tempo variants — this special. Honestly, I wish I had the time to make mp3 "snippets" of both sides, as they're both essential tracks in this genre. Ike Turner deserves a bow for penning the two tracks as well. And how about this "Sony" label? Produced by Ike & Tina Turner, it's a hoot that this single was released (no album, to my knowledge) on a label named "Sony", clearly testifying that there was no corporate behemoth of that name yet familiar to U.S. consumers. Note: This beautiful promo 45 has very light signs of storage wear on the labels and vinyl (styrene), but the audio bursts forth from both sides in pristine condition!
