Here's a beautiful original pressing of Haley's first big hit. Haley's version contains many changes to the lyrics of Joe Turner's original to make them "less offensive" to "white ears", but his blend of Country Swing and Jump Blues like Louie Jordan paved the way for Rock'n'Roll and Elvis Presley. This is a first pressing copy, with no star below the Decca logo. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. It looks and sounds Near Mint, with a small numbered sticker on the B label. The audio has a touch of surface noise.
