Here's a beautiful copy of this early Stones single, on the original purple and white London label, in a nice copy of the release's cool picture sleeve. Interestingly, the A side is specially edited from a 4:06 album track. The B side is an iconic cover of the Muddy Waters classic, a perfect example of the peculiar mix of British pop sensibilities and American Rhythm & Blues that fueled the British Invasion, launching scores of new bands on both sides of the Atlantic. Bands like the Stones fully absorbed black American music in their early years, and this infusion helped sculpt the sound that became uniquely theirs. Note: This 45 record has labels and vinyl (styrene) that grade close to Mint in appearance, and the powerful audio is pristine Mint... a deep thrill for the ears! The picture sleeve is bright and shiny and has virtually no ringwear but does have moderate edge wear in three corners (the scan shows a little of this), grading EX overall.
