This highly sought-after single's A side originally charted on the Bilozoard Hot 100 Singles chart, but it's the B side that gives the 45 its high value today: A dynamite Northern Soul number with John singing at the peak of his vocal power. Incidentally, I don't believe John's A&M singles ever made it onto an album. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage A&M Records factory sleeve. The labels grade Near Mint (the B side is pristine... see scan), with a tiny set of initials inked on the A label. The vinyl shows light signs of prior use, grading a strong EX. The A side was obviously played some, as you can hear very light styrene-related distortion in some passages, and the B side is nearly pristine; the audio grades Near Mint overall.
