Why Did You Call/ One

This is a new, unplayed stock copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection. Here again is a fantastic Northern Soul stomper with a clear Motown feel to it, but in my researching I can't find any source to tell me the year of release. I'm guessing 1966. The B side is also a worthy destination, if you're in a more mellow mood. Note: This beautiful copy has a pristine A label (see scan); the B label has two "X" marks on it. The vinyl exhibits light storage wear, grading Near Mint. The audio as well is shy of Mint, with a moment or two of light surface noise occasionally audible (have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" to hear what I mean by Near Mint in this case).
