Now here's a must-have for fans of Elvis Presley, or Rockabilly in general. One of his best late 1960s recordings, the song was virtually ignored at the time, reaching only #69 on the Bilozoard Hot 100 chart.
As many of you know, the track was surprisingly resurrected in 2002 by Dutch musician Tom Holkenborg—better known as Junkie JXL. JXL had heard the track in the movie
Ocean's Eleven, released in 2001 and including the original song on its soundtrack. Gaining permission from RCA, JXL did a terrific techno-style remix, which became a bigger hit than the original. On the flip side of the remix single was a 1:39 version that's close to—but not the same as—the version on the original 45 rpm (listen to the jukebox snippet here). The original recording is also longer than the version on the 2002 single, clocking in at 2:00. This copy also comes in its original, very cool picture sleeve.
Note: This single is from a large collection we've purchased whose records typically have mint or near-mint audio and near-mint vinyl. The labels are near mint as well, but the owner had a habit of writing a date in small print on the B side label. In this case, the writing is hard to see against the black background. This RCA Victor label is the style with the dog on the left and the label title in a cream color, on the right.

Both of these tracks were included in the MGM movie
Live A Little, Love A Little. They are credited to Elvis Presley with the Jordanaires.
