Barricade/ Give Me A Little Kiss

This is a terrific, uptempo "jump blues", Caucasian-style, circa early 1950's. It's also worth noting that Steele's attitude toward sex was way ahead of its time for her gender. I think in the early 1950's she would have been regarded by most white folks as merely a "loose woman." :-)
