From the 1957 Elvis' Christmas album. Hit #34 when released in 1964 on RCA 447-0720 (that's correct--the 1964 release had a higher catalog number than the 1965 release--go figure!). The single has been released many times throughout the years, on 447-0647 from 1965 on. However, it has now been discontinued. This is a beautiful copy of the original 1965 release, in a vintage Gold Standard Series factory sleeve. The 1965 release appeared both with and without a "Recorded" date on the A side label; this copy is without the date (see scan). Note: This copy looks and sounds new and unplayed.
