The A side of this rare soul-group single is a decent cover of the 1960 R&B hit by Joe & Ann, but the gem here is the flip, which is a great example of how soul groups were evolving from doo-wop to soul in the early 1960s. In this case, the group's transition is pretty far along, but not as far as the hitmakers at Motown were by 1964.
