From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. Kool & the Gang had been churning out journeyman boogie funk since 1969 before finally hitting the big time with 'Jungle Boogie' in 1973. Here's one of their more obscure--and most sought-after--singles from 1972; it's the funky B side instrumental that's most highly prized by funk collectors.
