I Can Hear Music

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed Stereo/Mono promo copy. It's a relatively rare Beach Boys promo of a single pulled from the Brother/Reprise reissue of the band's 1969 album, 20/20. The song is itself a cover of a tune originally written for and recorded by the Ronettes in 1966. Many people consider it one of the band's finest moments, despite the absence of guidance by Brian Wilson, whose younger brother Carl produced the recording. "I Can Hear Music" hit #24 on the pop chart in 1969 when it was released on Capitol 2432.
