This obscure U.K. "jazz-dance" group had only a couple of minor chart singles in the U.S., and this is one of them. Listening to this cover of the Bobby Womack nugget (a hit earlier in the 1970s for New Birth), it's clearly not jazz, though it certainly swings... as all the best Northern Soul 45s do. This single was also released with "I Can Understand It" as a single A-side track and a different flip. I'm not sure which release came first, or which is more valuable. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. The labels and vinyl grade Near Mint, reflecting some light storage wear.
