Here's a nice copy of the single that sits at #6 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of the rock'n'soul era. Thanks to the misguided folks at Abkco, who own the rights to the Stones' catalog, no reissues have been available for many years, and it's difficult to find good originals like this one! This is one of the few Stones singles that credits "Nanker Phelge" as songwriter. "Nanker Phelge" was a pseudonym the band used as a way of sharing royalties among all band members instead of just Jagger & Richards. Note: The label has some ringwear, and the vinyl is scuffed up. However, the audio is on this styrene pressing is gorgeous!
