With this single, "I Want You To Know" was Imperial's pick for the A side. Radio programmers saw it a little differently, though, no doubt partly because "The Big Beat" was being featured in a movie of the same name. The two sides ended up getting about equal airplay, although it's the original A side that is the enduring musical jewel on this single. Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" to hear for yourself. :-) Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a faint touch of ringwear on the "Big Beat" side and a tiny date inked in the first "I" in "Imperial" on "I Want You To Know". Despite a vinyl surface that grades EX to reflect the amount of surface scuffing, the audio is a refreshingly loud and clear Near Mint.
