Just What I've Been Lookin' For/ I've Got You On My Mind

This great U.S. vocal group hadn't had a hit in over a year when they signed with Reprise in 1968, and unfortunately, this single — their first for the new label — also flopped. Undeservedly so, I might add. Both sides are classic Vogues, and I have a preference for the B side, a catchy song that hit twice in the U.K. (biggest was for White Plains) but failed to win ears over here. I once had a great Bubblegum cover of the song by Blue Horizon, which I rated 5 stars in iTunes (translates to 2 stars on Classic 45s). Note: This copy comes in a vintage Reprise Records factory sleeve. The audio is Near Mint, but there is a light touch of surface noise near the beginning of each side.
