From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Chess/Checker/Cadet factory sleeve. Man, this is a hard single to find! "Nadine" was a pretty big hit at the time  Berry's first after serving time for tax evasion. In his comeback, he racked up 5 hits in 1964, but "Nadine" hasn't retained the luster of some of those other 1964 classics, such as "Promised Land" or "You Never Can Tell." But it's great enough to land spot #661 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of the rock era. By the way, this was a non-album single, not appearing on any of Berry's contemporary albums, only on later compilations. This is a second pressing on the light blue Chess label. Note: This beautiful copy light storage wear, but the audio sounds pristine Mint.
