Nearer To You/ I'm Evil Tonight

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Bell Records factory sleeve. Two dynamite recordings from New Orleans Soul master Allen Toussaint, with help from Ms. Harris, of course! "Nearer" was the hit, but I prefer the somewhat snarlier B side. Collector Nerd Alert: The B side ("Evil") had been released in 1966 on the A side of Sansu 450; I'm not sure if that earlier release is the same recording as this one, but I would suspect so. Note: This beautiful promo 45 exhibits faint storage wear, lowering the Label and Vinyl grades to Near Mint. The audio, however, shines through in pristine Mint condition!
