New Jersey/ Tell Her Hello

This is a promo copy of this duo's debut single, several years before they started getting a lot of airplay. The A side is a terrific, uptempo country-rocker with a side of power pop thrown in to the mix. These guys, by the way, were both in the Texas band Southwest F.O.B. a few years earlier. According to Joel Whitburn, England Dan is Dan Seals, brother of Jim Seals who had a partner called Crofts you may recall. Dan Seals went on to become a very successful country artist.
