From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed promo copy. This great track is a delightful surprise from beginning to end, and though it starts out sounding like a girl group record, it soon blossoms into full-fledged, testifyin' soul, with a great group of backup singers. The flip is melodramatic teen anguish in the best Shangri-Las tradition. Unfortunately, I haven't found any authoritative information about Lois Walden, but she certainly made one great single!
