Real Wild Child/ Oh You Beautiful Doll

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. This is a pristine mint copy of the first release of this single... a very rare item indeed! Ivan is Jerry Allison, the Crickets drummer. This terrific track features Buddy Holly on lead guitar. The flip side is another uptempo rockabilly number (different--and better--than the one that appears on the 1967 reissue), likely also featuring Holly.... as well as some more very interesting vocal experimentation!
