Although both sides of this classic single hit #1 on the black chart, and both hit the top 10 on the pop chart, Dave Marsh includes this single at #161 in his list of the 1001 greatest singles of rock & soul on the strength of the tremendous A side alone. Note: This copy has an old Webster 45 adapter (made of steel) in its center. I've left it in, but it can be removed (with care).
