Space Oddity/ Moonage Daydream

This is a copy of a rare promotional EP released in 1972, before Bowie had achieved any real commercial success here in the States. Primarily promoting "Space Oddity," which would finally become a hit here in 1973, the EP also includes "Moonage Daydream," the only U.S. 45 with this classic. On the B side are "Life on Mars," from Bowie's 1971 LP Hunky Dory and Ray Davies' "It Ain't Easy," which along with "Daydream" is culled from his 1972 Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust. Note: This is the short (3:24) version of "Space Oddity."
