The Winner Takes It All

Stereo/Mono promo copy. Ever since seeing the delightful "Mamma Mia," it's hard to listen to this one now without thinking it must have originally been written for a musical. Though many of their hits had that big-drama, sophisticated-melody sound one associates with musicals like "The Sound of Music" or "Cats," this one was clearly meant to be presented that way. A classic musical number. Note: Both sides of the promo have the 4:20 "Edited Version", which is about half a minute shorter than the full LP cut (4:56) that appears on the stock copies. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve.
