Trivia note: From the time Elton John first hit the top 40 with 'Your Song' in 1970, this is the only single he released that failed to reach the top 40 until 'Heartache All Over the World' in 1986. But it's still got to be one of his best and best loved. I'm sure one reason it failed to do better is that it was (!) over 6 minutes long. The promo release did have a severely edited version, but it didn't have the same impact. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Uni Records factory sleeve (sleeve has a little wear). The labels are Near Mint. The vinyl looks Near Mint at first glance but grades lower on closer inspection which reveals some scuffing and a couple of tiny scratches. The audio grades EX overall, reflecting noticeable surface noise, especially during the quiet segments. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
