This is a new, unplayed promo copy, in its original picture sleeve. Along with Wham! and Culture Club, Spandau Ballet were one of a fairly large crop of white English soul groups who dominated the airwaves in the early 1980s. I suspect it reflects the intense, abiding passion among British musicians and fans for 1960s and 1970s U.S. soul music... a passion, sadly, that hasn't been shared so intensely by their counterparts--both black and white--in the U.S. This special promo has the usual "long" version (5:40) on one side and a shorter, edited version (4:58) on the other. Both versions are specially edited from a 6:30 album track. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve is nearly flawless!
