Amos Milburn was an influential American R&B musician and pianist active during the 1940s and 1950s. Known for his distinctive rollicking, boogie-woogie piano style, Milburn's music was a significant precursor to rock 'n' roll. He recorded numerous hits for Aladdin Records, including "Chicken Shack Boogie" and "One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer", which have become enduring classics in the blues genre.
