Psycho/ Too Good To Be True

This track was no doubt inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock movie of the same name, which was released earlier the same year. The recording features Hendricks with New York DJ Dr. Jive, playing a psychiatrist. According to Joel Whitburn, the "song" was cowritten by Clyde McPhatter. It's also thought that the song influenced Lincoln Chase to write "The Name Game" 4 years later. The flip is a terrific uptempo RnB/Soul dancer. Note: This beautiful promo copy has an "X" and a tiny stain on the A side, while the B side is pristine. The vinyl and audio both grade very close to Mint.
