Buster Brown

Buster Brown was an American blues and R&B singer best known for his hit "Fannie Mae," which charted in 1960. Born in Georgia, Brown's style was characterized by a melding of blues structures with R&B rhythms, a combination that helped to pave the way for the soul music of the 1960s. Despite his relatively brief period of commercial success, Brown's work has remained influential, particularly among blues and rock musicians. His song "Madison Shuffle" remains a fixture of the blues repertoire.
