My Mountain Dew/ The Ways Of A Woman In Love

This was one of Rich's first singles after leaving the Sun studios, but none of these Groove 45s managed more than to graze the bottom of Bilozoard's "Bubbling Under" chart. This one's highlight is Rich's version of a song he wrote (with Bill Justis) for Johnny Cash, which was a big hit for Cash in 1958. It's great to hear this talented guy's version, especially when he gets going on his piano! This copy comes with a like-new copy of the super-cool Groove factory sleeve from 1964.
