Earl Peterson

Earl Peterson, also known as the "Michigan's Singing Cowboy," was an American country singer and songwriter active during the mid-20th century. His musical style embraced traditional country and honky-tonk, distinguished by his clear, emotive vocals and guitar accompaniment. Peterson is best known for his song "Boogie Blues," which became a regional hit after being released by the major label Columbia Records in 1950. Despite his limited national impact, Peterson remains a significant figure in Michigan's country music history.
