EBN-OZN was an American synthpop duo active during the early 1980s, comprised of Robert Rosen (EBN) and Ned Liben (OZN). Known for their pioneering use of sampling and digital recording technology, the pair achieved notoriety with their 1983 single, "AEIOU Sometimes Y", which is often considered one of the first records to make extensive use of samples and was the first record made entirely on a computer in the United States. Their distinctive blend of electronic music, rap, and performance art was innovative for its time and holds a significant place in the evolution of electronic and dance music. Despite their brief career, EBN-OZN's unique approach to music production left a lasting influence on the genre.
