Eddie Harris was an American jazz musician, best known for his saxophone work, although he was also a pianist, singer, and composer. Harris is perhaps most renowned for his 1961 album "Exodus to Jazz," which included his own jazz arrangement of the theme from the film "Exodus" and became the first jazz album to be certified gold.
