From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. This is the original hit release of this classic Christmas yuck, which originated on an Oink single in 1979. It evolved into a huge hit by 1983, when it hit #1 on the Christmas chart on this Soundwaves release. Epic picked the song up and re-released it in 1984, when it again hit #1. The Soundwaves release originally appeared in 1982, but didn't become a hit until the following year. Note: The artist name is spelled "Elmo 'N Patsy" on this release.
