Human Body is an influential underground band from the 1980s, led by session musician Roger Troutman. Known for their unique electro-funk sound, Human Body's music prominently features the use of the talk box, a vocal effect that became Troutman's signature. Their self-titled debut album, "Human Body", was a critical success and has since been considered a seminal work in the funk genre. Despite their limited commercial success, their distinctive musical style played a significant role in the development of the electro-funk and hip-hop genres.
