From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This great record ushered in a period of peak creativity and popularity for Palmer... It ended up being his biggest hit (and only #1), but was closely followed by a string of other monster hits over the next 2 years, highlighted by "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On" and "Simply Irresistable." All proved that Palmer could funk with the best of them, both on cover tunes and original songs. Having Bernard Edwards producing helped, of course. :-) This single has a specially edited version of a 6:01 album track. Note: This copy has light storage wear that lowers the Label grade to Near Mint. The wax and audio are pristine. The picture sleeve has a touch of edge-wear.
