Bomb Iran

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. As I understand it, this is the first issue of this novelty tune recorded at the height of the Iran hostage crisis. It's a completely different recording... different lyrics even. Actually, it's much better in some ways than the later version... it's got a great ending, for example. But it's also scarier, cause you get the feeling these guys really meant it. From the lyrics, it's clear that these guys wrote this tune within a month of the start of the crisis in November 1979. It's interesting that this first release has no artist, writer, or producer credits on the label! All we know is that it was recorded at Mastercraft Studios and released on Towel Records in Memphis, TN.
