Originally released on MCA 40161. Like me, you've probably forgotten this big #1 hit from 1974, part of Cher's "I'm a Gypsy" phase. The lyrics are in the mold of the storytelling that was popular then... from Harry Chapin to Vicky Lawrence and Jim Stafford. But the music is pure, rocking pop... quite delightful, really. This is a beautiful copy of the MCA reissue, in its MCA sleeve.
